HARGEISA (Somalilandsun) – Cultural Secretary to opposition’s National Party (Wadani) Chief Abdi Guleid Gabobe has called the Government & traditional Elders to apprehend and prosecute individuals who took the law unto their hands through retaliatory killing of fellow countrymen at Kalshale in Toghdeer region.
Chief Gabobe attributed these retaliatory attacks to advancement of series of incitements of local communities propelled by hate speech mongers and inciters to the jeopardy of inclining equilibrium of harmonious co-existence between the various clans inhabiting Kalshale locality.
The politician cum elder divulged these revelations during a press conference he held in Hargeisa in which he reiterated his party’s conviction for peaceful co-existence between the communities living in the area before ultimately condoling family, relatives & friends of the three people who lost their lives in the recent skirmishes that ensured between locals to the detriment of public order.
In particular the opposition leader vowed the administration especially the Interior Minister Ali Waran’ade and elders from the region to ensure that no stone is left unturned in ensuring that the culprits are brought into books so as to avoid re-occurrences of such barbaric & medieval actions.
Lastly Chief Gabobe asked Somalilanders from all walks of live, locally & at abroad to patriotically celebrate the National Day on Sunday 18th May so as to showcase to the world that statehood is inevitable as there is no turning back the historical clock.
