HARGEISA (Somalilandsun) – The Vice president Abdilahi Sayli has extended condolences on the death of late Garaad Abdilahi Garaad Sofe Duran who passed away in Buhodle town on the 19th July 2014.
“I condole the family, friends, relatives, All traditional leaders and Somaliland at large on the sudden demise of the late Garaad Abdilahi ” said the VP who is also acting president of Somaliland in the absence of his boss president Silanyo current ion the UK.
While praying to Allah for the succour to the soul of the departed traditional leader I also beseech his family, relatives and nation as well to mourn the departed in dignity added VP Sayli
“Although it’s difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, may looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow.”
The Vice president also extended personal condolences to the Somaliland deputy minister of Eastern regions peace-building and development Osman Garaad Sofe who is brother to the departed soul.
“I was deeply saddened by the news of Garaad Abdilahi Garaad Sofe passing. My heartfelt condolences to you and your family” the VP wrote to the deputy minister
The late Garaad Abdilahi Garaad Sofe Duran will be remembered as one of the traditional leader who played an active role towards the Buhodle peace accord signed between president Silanyo and then SSC militia commander but current health minister Suleiman Isse Haglatosie.
