Somalilandsun: Somaliland, is gradually turning into the new investment hub in the horn of Africa. This was was unanimously concurred upon during a Somaliland Investment Promotion round table meeting in Nairobi.
The focus of the Forum organised and hosted by Ambasador Bashe Omar at the Somaliland trade office in Nairobi was to highlight available investment opportunities in Somaliland as well as the business friendly policies put in place by the Somaliland Government to attract trade and investment.
According to envoy Bashe Omar Somaliland welcomes the Kenya’s Government’s intrests in the fields of trade, investment, security and education cooperation. “We have a long history with Kenya dating back to colonial days”
Participants included officials from the Kenya government and Kenyan investors of Somaliland origin among others
