BURAO (Somalilandsun) – The Togdeer regional deputy governor Mohamud Yusuf has denied rumours by a cross-section of population of existence of bad-blood between him and the governor.
He said that the governor was his friend and that they were both in good working relationships.
He was speaking in a press conference whereby reporters asked him about the confrontations of governor and the Burao’s Municipality councilors. The deputy governor stated that it was all rumours and the only minor misunderstandings are laments from the local municipality.
He said that if anything it was in the process being solved in the cause of this week to iron out differences between the region’s administration and the Burao’s town councilors who had complained that the governor was not cooperating with them when they visit his office on matters concerning the council.
