HARGEISA: (Somalilandsun)-The Somaliland Police Force have in the past three years climbed the development ladder impressively hence have come of age.
They today boast of two newly rehabilitated training colleges that catches the eyes.
Drafting of new servicemen and have also increased tremendously since the establishment of the force in 1993.
The SLNTV has documented a collection of their long to where they stand now, at par and in tune with international standards.
In the last quarter of 2013 alone they received 27 new police-tailored vehicles for traffic law enforcement emergency services which were distributed throughout the major towns of the republic.
The documentary which extensively showed details of well dressed police and their vehicles going about their chores, also presented the Interior minister Hon. Ali Mohamed Waran’ade urging the members of the public to work closely with the department such that anti-crime management in the country may be a success.
