Hargeisa: (Somalilandsun) – The President H.E. Ahmed Mohammed Mohamud Silanyo has directed the security services to address immediately issues that pertain to complaints raised by the Ministry members of the public.

The Presidential directive was announced by the presidential advisor on ministry affairs Mr. Barkhad Jama Hersi.

In a press conference Mr. Barkhad explained that the it follows a meeting the Head of State had with the Sultans and traditional leaders of the said community.

He observed that the President was notably deeply affected by the issues raised.

Last week the members of the ministry clans residing in the city had engaged in running battles that pitted them against a major clan one side and the police who were trying to quell the public disorder on the other.

A death of a woman who was allegedly stoned by youth hence declared by a patholist to have died of “natural caused” is believed to have sparked the fires.

Mr. Barkhad said that the President was remorseful of the way the matter was handled.

He recalled that in his speech to parliament he decried that the minority members were not visibly noted (or seen) at political circles hence that they too ought to be potrayed.
