Somalilandsun: Water flooded streets in the Somaliland capital Hargeisa shall henceforth be a thing of the past.
This follows the construction of an urban water drainage network funded by the central coffers that is now fully functional.
Similarly traffic congestion in the capital is also set for relieve following expansion of the main road interconnecting the entire city.
This developments came to the fore following an inspection of the new facilities undertaken by a team from the Presidency led by DG Mohamed Ali Bile.

Hargeisa-23-03-2021- (SL) -The Director General of the Presidency of the Republic of Somaliland, Mr. Mohamed Ali Bile, today inspected the expansion of the main Road in the center of the Somaliland capital,
Hargeisa, and the construction of new canals. Director Mohamed Ali Bile, met with contractors of the road in the center of the capital, who are laying new canals that will facilitate the flow of water during the rainy season, and contribute significantly to the future quality and beauty of the road.
He also inspected the construction of a new bridge on the south-west side of the new presidential palace, which will facilitate traffic in the capital, and also inspected a large concrete pipeline facility for water.
The main road that interconnecting the entire city is also undergoing expansion especially at the Central Business District thus ease traffic flow.
