HARGEISA: (Somalilandsun) The national assembly of Somaliland has
officially opened for use the third regional office in Togdheer region
in the span of only three weeks.
The delegation led by the house 2nd deputy speaker Hon. Ali Yusuf
Ahmed, comprised of the chairman of the parliament permanent committee
Hon. Ibrahim Mahdi Buba and the entire Honorable committee members.
The deputy speaker said after presiding over cutting the ribbon to
mark its official opening that this is a liaison office between the
members of the public and legislatures, he added’ I am overwhelmed for
the opening of this office in the second capital of Somaliland and
also to share the task of drawing laws with the people of Togdheer’.
Hon. Ibrahim Buba said that this is the 3rd parliamentary regional
office so far, adding that, its purpose is to nourish the link between
the honorable members and their electors more closer and enhance the
House credibility and servitude sustainability.
