Somaliland: “Meeting President Silanyo Reminded Me of My Late Father” Ms Amal Fagade

HARGEISA (Somalilandsun) – A 15 years old girl shed tears of joy upon meeting the president of Somaliland Ahmed Mahmud Silanyo at the presidency in Hargeisa.

The young lady Ms Amal Mahmud Salah Nuur ‘Fagade ‘says the tears were both from joy and memories of her late father a good friend of the president and Somaliland public servant who passed away 6 years ago in France

President Silanyo with MP Indo-indo (Back) pose with the Fabgade Family15 years old Ms Amal who is on holiday in the country from her second home in Sweden is the daughter of late Mahmud Salah Nuur ‘Fagade’ a former Somaliland minister of foreign affairs, member of parliament and ruling Kulmiye party deputy chair who passed away while the country’s representative in France.

“When I set my eyes on President Silanyo I could not control my tears for he, the president reminded me of my father” said Ms Amal who thanked the head of state for his humility that led to the meeting invitation with a 15 year old.

During the visit to the presidency in Hargeisa organized by MP Abdiqadir Mohamed Hasan Indo-Indo”” the daughter of late Fagade was accompanied by her mother Asha Burale and Iiman Ashara a maternal Aunt

Ms Amal also thanked the Somaliland first lady Amina Mohamed Jirdeh “Amina Weris “and Finance minister Zamzam Abdi Aden who made the visit very enjoyable and Memorable.
