Somalilandsun – In a major strategic shift senior leaders of the Khatumo movement in the eastern Somaliland region of Sool have split into opposing factions.
According to Somalilandsun sources in Buhoodle town, Prof Ali Khalif Galayd the Khatumo secession leader has been thrown out of the town members who his militia and his whereabouts remain unknown.
The putsch that pits junior members of the tribal militia aligned to the secession and resident in Buhoodle the prof Galayd stronghold and senior political figures supportive to the Warlord Somalia Member of parliament and USA citizen is said to emanate from divergent positions as pertains the Khatumoists allegiance to the Somalia Federal Government.
