HARGEISA (Somalilandsun) – Youthful residents are hopeful that the now under preparation 2016 annual budget for Somaliland shall include increased subsidies to their institution.
This was stated by orphanage management during clothing donation hand-over function at the city based institution officiated by the minister of finance Ms. Zamzam Abdi Aden and witnessed by the Donor and children at the Orphanage centre.
While handing over his donation of assorted sporting gears the benefactor, a Somaliland citizen based in Qatar Osman Hasan Osman who upon wishing his beneficiaries health promised more and larger donations in the future.
“I hope my small contribution will fill a tiny gap while I endeavor for more” said Osman Hasan Osman who was accompanied to the function by minister Zamzam
The finance minister who thanked the citizen for his kind contribution towards easing gaps in needs of basic goods for the over 400 children at the centre also urged other citizens both at home and in the diaspora to emulate Qatari based Osman Hasan.
“Every support big or small availed children at the orphanage shall go a long way in uplifting their standards of living not to mention that helping orphans is a religious obligation” said the Somaliland Finance minister while revealing that Osman Hasan Osman is a member of the Qatari national Team
As he thanked citizen Osman Hasan for his kind contribution the deputy manager of the orphanage centre also reassured the benefactor by telling him that his donation was not meager but very sufficient and important to the kids
In conclusion the center’s management also thanked Minister Zamzam for her continued support that ensued during her stint at the education ministry.
