Somalilandsun – A large delegation of senior Puntland officials were in a whirlwind tour of various parts of Sool region in Somaliland.
The team led by Puntland interior minister Ahmed Kharaash accompanied by a heavily armed security detail entered Somaliland without any objection from sool regional or national authorities.
Though heavily guarded the Ahmed Kharaash team met and held discussions with residents of the various trading centres visited before returning again without a word from local authorities back to their base in Garowe the capital of Puntland an administrative region of Somalia that lays claim to parts of astern Somaliland.
In the meantime neither the Sool Regional Administration in Las Anod nor the Somaliland central government in Hargeisa has reacted even with a statement of acknowledgement to the over incursion into territorial boundaries.
