Somalilandsun- two people lost their lives after a gun man shot them in Yeyle village, 80km south west to Lasanod, Sool regional capital on Wednesday officials said.
Sool regional governor Mustafa Abdi Esse ‘Shine’, stated that a gun man shot a man and the bullet has also killed another man in scene.
“While the gunman had a grudge with the targeted one in Yeyle village but the close range shot also killed an innocent bystander on the scene where security forces were immediately dispatched to the village for pursuit of the murderer and investigation as well as a deterrence to retaliatory acts by relatives of the deceased,” governor Shine said during a briefing to DAWAN a Somaliland government owned newspaper.
The governor stated that security is under control in the regional while appealing to the local community to cooperate law enforcement personnel and facilitate any further hints of the escaped murderer.
