Somaliland: “Government Has Achieved Much in three Years” Official

Somalilandsun – The deputy minister of information Hon. Abdiwaxid Abdikadir Abdirrahman has briefed about the national development accomplished by the government since his Excellency President Ahmed Mohamed Mohamud Silanyo took power in July 2010.

He also said the media about the foreign policy of Somaliland which said Somaliland has good relationship whit many countries in the word. He also said the recent official visit of the president of Somaliland his Excellency Ahmed Mohamed Mohamud Silanyo who visited France, Turkey, Ethiopia, Kenya, UK, UAE, Djibouti, and South Sudan which this countries have a good relationship with Somaliland. He also said on the side of the economic in the country.

He said before the government leading by his Excellency Ahmed Mohamed Mohamud Silanyo took power the government workers were not earning enough salary from the perverse government there were not even getting their salary by the end of the month.

When the government took a bower in 2010 July have increase the salary of the government workers and also the country’s economic has boosted up within three years which the country’s budget is now nearly to two hundred million Somaliland Shillings.

The deputy minister Hon. Abdiwaxid said in his press conference that this government has fight against corruption in this country which the international community has given Somaliland award for seceding to fight against corruption.

UK government and Denmark has given sixty million dollar award to Somaliland government. He also said in press conference on the side of the talks between Somaliland and Somalia he added the Somaliland government gives a good priority to speak it is people which before going for talks with Somalia Somaliland government call position parts for they are advice about the talks between Somaliland and Somalia. Somaliland governments take the advice political parts when going for talks in Turkey. Hon. Abdiwaxid said that Somaliland will welcome the advice of the opposition parties in the country.
