Somaliland sun – In Berbera, where the ruins of Ottoman and British colonial buildings dot the scraggly landscape around a school hundreds of refugees take shelter after spending nearly three days in a boat crossing the Gulf of Aden from Yemen.

Berbera is the port city of Somaliland an unrecognized country that hosts thousands of people fleeing the Horrors of Yemen whose safe haven according to Sam Kimball is courtesy of a Network of  Merchants, refugees, and businessmen that spans the Gulf of Aden.
