BORAME (Somalilandsun) – Police in Borame are holding three people suspected of funding the Sultan Wabari militia terrorising residents of Awdal region in the west of the country.

According to a report by Saxafi newspaper the suspects all from the Diaspora were nabbed at house in the south of the Awdal regional capital of Borame where they were holding a meeting related to enhancing the terror activities being perpetrated in the region by militia aligned to Sultan Wabari a renegade traditional leader.

The diaspora link in the brewing troubles related to a mythical Awdal state in the making purportedly to be curved from areas Somaliland that are its current parts known as Awdal region that straddle the west all the way to border with Djibouti, have been in the heresy for long leading to a lengthily tour of North America by VP Sayli himself an Awdalite.

Though neither the regional nor Central governments have released any statement as per the arrest the incarnation of the purported terrorism funders is welcome news for the country.
