Somalilandsun- Somaliland, that broke away from Somalia in 1991 has elected a former pilot and rebel leader Musa Bihi Abdi as president.
Abdi, a former air force pilot was the candidate of the ruling Kulmiye party.
He was declared the winner of the presidential elections, with a little more than 55% of the vote. Somaliland is considered a territory in Somalia by the international community – but it enjoys a level of stability.
