Somaliland sun- Amina Hersi Moghe a Somaliland resident in Kampala Uganda has been awarded ‘Businesswoman of the Year in Africa 2014’ by the London based magazine THENEWECONOMY to mark her most notable operational performance in Africa.
According to the British business journal, Amina demonstrated admirable intrepidity self-belief through the multi-million dollar investments made during an era of global economic difficulty and financial crisis. She has successfully transformed Uganda capital, Kampala, into a vibrant city. The Oasis Mall is the city centre’s heartbeat housing both local and international banks and the Nakumatt which is East Africa’s biggest retail chain but the jewel in the crown is The Laburnum Court, a development of luxury apartments.
