Somaliland: Today 2nd May 2013 the United Nations Security Council- UNSC is expected to adopt a resolution creating a United Nations Assistance Mission in Somalia-UNSOM which is to be deployed on 3rd June for a period of 12 months.
Now the big question is, what shall be the mandate of UNSOM? And is it the much awaited replacement of the phased out Amb Mahiga led UNPOS? and
Where does this place the heroic underfunded underequipped AMISOM troops?
