Somalilandsun – Khat will be made a class C drug under the Misuse of Drugs Act of 197. In the third quarter of last year , the Home Secretary has announced the Government’s decision to ban Khat.
The time that Khat will be banned has not yet been made clear but the ground work for banning and the legislative side of it is already in place. Khat will therefore , be controlled as a Class C Drug in UK . This change will have implications for the users or the suppliers
