Two executives of a U.K.-based printing company, that mints money for Somaliland have been charged with making corrupt payments across Africa to score business contracts.

Somalilandsun – A U.K.-based printing company, two of its executives and two others were charged with making corrupt payments across Africa to score business contracts.
The charges, announced Wednesday by the U.K. Serious Fraud Office, accuse Eastbourne-based Smith & Ouzman Ltd. of agreeing to make payments totaling nearly half a million U.K. pounds in Mauritania, Ghana, Somaliland and Kenya between November 2006 and December 2010.
Representatives of the company couldn’t be reached for comment.
The two executives, an employee and an agent appeared in a London court Wednesday, and will next appear on Nov. 6.
