HARGEISA (Somalilandsun) – Wrangling UCID Party bosees have been ordered to hold an extra-ordinary GA within fourth days from today.
According to the Somaliland Political Parties Registration and Verification Committee- PPR&V , the dispute between party chairman Eng Feudal Ali Warabe and his presumptive presidential candidate Jamal Ali Hussein should be Settled internal.
The committee came to the decision following more than a month’s deliberations on the dispute in which Eng Warabe dethroned Jamal Ali from being the party’ nominee as presidential candidate in elections slated March 2017.
The PPR&V also termed the recent removal from UCID Party posts and membership by Eng Warabe was not in accordance to law thence null and void.
The candidate of Jamal Ali remains in contention as things stand currently but things might turn round for youthful banker come the ordered General Asembly.

It is worthy mentioning that in 2012 a similar power dispute between Eng Warabe and senior party bosses led to the establishment of the main opposition party Wadsni led speaker of parliament Abdirahman Irro.
