TWIITER (Somalilandsun) – The armed forces have been commended for their successful Khatumo flush out operations in the East of the country.
This was stated by the Somaliland president Ahmed Mahmud Silanyo in a tweeter message in which he also acknowledge full responsibilities for all operations conducted by the defense forces in the country.
“National Defense is my mandate thence all operations by the armed forces are undertaken under orders from my office” said the head of state in reference to recent successful operations to flush-out Secessionists in Saahdheer area of Sool Region in which the army took total command of militia bases and arrested numerous others including members of the Somalia Federal parliament.
During the Saahdheer liberation in which tens of clan militias were killed also saw their American Citizen Commander and warlord Ali Khalif Galayd decamped to Ethiopia under protection of the notorious Ethiopia Zone five Liyuu Police.
Saying to all and sundry that the army shall maintain bases anywhere in the country deemed appropriate, thus covertly informing that Khatumo was part and parcel of Somaliland, President Silanyo finally brought the issue of foreign occupation by the army in some parts of Sool to a conclusively
