Somalilandsun – The Edna Hospital will sponsor the first conference in Somaliland on surgery for children with congenital and acquired defects. The conference is scheduled for September 21, 2015, and will showcase the work that has been done at since the Hargeisa based hospital since 2011.
The symposium will also feature speakers who are working with pediatric patients in Kenya, Ethiopia and elsewhere.
This was reported by Thomas Kraemer a member of a surgical team composed visiting surgerons and local doctors at the Edna Hospital that Over the past week, held surgery camps to improve the lives of mothers and children in Somaliland. Continue reading
