Somalilandsun – The republic of Somaliland has been invited to a new deal for Somalia meeting by host Sweden
According to yet confirmed reports the Swedish minister of Trade Ms Ewa Björling has extended an official initiation to Somaliland for participation in the new deal conference hosted by Sweden in the Capital Stockholm from 10 – 12 June 2014.
Other invited participants include the Somalia regional administrations of Jubaland, Puntland, Galmudug and others as well as the Somalia Federal Government.
Though the government of Somaliland has not issued any statement pertaining to the meeting or invitation to attend, the opposition party of UCID says attendance is tantamount to reversal of the country’s sovereignty.
According to UCID the main aim of the meeting is to create mechanism for dismantling the vibrant economies managed by regional administrations in Favour of the Somalia Federal government.
While Somaliland’s participation in international meets discussing Somalia hitherto taboo is now acceptable, attendance in the Stockholm meeting shall certainly be not only demining but despicable as well in addition to being a backstab to sovereignty.
