Stockholm(Somalilandsun)- Somaliland’s house of representatives, and The chairman of oppositional party WADDANI, Abdirahman Mohamed Abdilahi (Irro) who is recently on working visit to Finland and Sweden has met first deputy speaker of Sweden Parliament Mr. Tobias Billstrom on Friday.
They held wide range discussions about to strengthen the bilateral cooperation’s between the two countries and both houses to create a closely relations.
Somaliland’s lower house speaker Mr. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdilahi has urged to Sweden take lion’s share and continue for democratization of Somaliland and enhance their role of Somaliland elections facilities.
Mr. Irro briefed the current situation of the country and appealed that Sweden become the front fore of various campaigns of recognizing Somaliland as independent state, and thanked their support of republic of Somaliland. Both sides agreed enhancing all discussed issues.
On the other hand the speaker and leader of WADDANI Party also met Mayor of Stockholm, capital of Sweden Mr.’s Karin Wanngard and other senior officials of the city consular’s, and they had discussions which has been covered so as to connect Stockholm city and Somaliland’s main cities.
Mr. Abdirahman Irro suggested to the Mayor to support local councils of his country in terms of trainings and capacity buildings so as to manage the developmental projects which will be implemented the various cities in the country.
