HARGEISA (Somaliland sun) – The ministry of Energy and Minerals became the first to officially receive new officers appointed by President Ahmed Mahmud Silanyo recently.
At a handover function held at the Kaah Business centre in the capital Hargeisa newly appointed state minister at the Energy and minerals ministry Engineer Abdirahman Ahmed Ismail ‘Simodi’ took over from his predecessor Dr Mohamed Farah Duale.
Officiating the handover the Eng Hussein Abdi Duale said that the outgoing Duale worked patriotically with commitment to national interests and was hopeful that incoming replacement not only sustains the same but enhances on it.
The outgoing energy and minerals state minister moves to in the same capacity to the finance ministry where he replaces Sahardid who shifts base in an elevated position as full minister at the ministry of aviation and air transport
