HARGEISA (Somalilandsun) – The government of Somaliland has expressed its consternation with the ongoing deaths and injuries occasioned Palestinians through attacks perpetrated by the Israeli army.
This was stated by Vice president Abdirahman Sayli during a post Eid prayers briefing in Hargeisa where he also extended Palestinians wishes of good tidings during the Eid festivities and the afterwards,
Said he, “on behalf of the president Ahmed Mahmud Silanyo, the government and people of Somaliland I hereby congratulate the people of Palestine more specifically Gazians on this auspices occasion of Eid ul-Fitr”
As he informed that citizens of Somaliland and Palestine are bonded by the Islamic faith VP Sayli also extended condolences to those Palestinians who have lost family members during the ongoing attacks by the government of Israel.
“While we strongly condemn the indiscriminate slaughter of innocent Palestinians especially women and children by the Israelis we also congratulate the people of Gaza for a so bravely borne deadly attacks”
The VPs remarks were in reference to the ongoing attacks on Gaza by the Israeli army that have killed, maimed Palestinians in the Gaza strip.
