Somalilandsun- The government in Berlin is pleased with progress of the democratization process in Somaliland.
This was stated by the deputy ambassador to Kenya Markus Bollmor during a meeting with resident Ahmed Mahmud Silanyo in Hargeisa where the visiting diplomat also revealed that his government is also impressed by the economic developments garnered so far.
Under pressure to foreign aid arm GIZ the government in Berlin is funding various projects in Somaliland among them roads construction, namely Kalabaid- Wajale and Sheikh to Berbera roads, as well as water development
According to a press statement released by the ministry of foreign affairs president Silanyo was accompanied at the meeting by his foreign minister and other MOFA officials
