As Khatumoist Ali Khalif Galayd and his Conoco oil company connections enters Buhodle town and declares war on Somaliland.

BUHOODLE (Somalilandsun) – Residents of Buhodle the continued presence of Secessionist Ali Khalif Galayd amongst you is a setback to your peaceful co-existence.
“At the same time any person or group opposed to Somaliland should understand by now that the country’s sovereignty is sacrosanct and no efforts shall be spared to sustain the same”
This was stated by the Somaliland minister of health Dr Suleiman Isse Ahmed ‘Haglatosie ‘during an address to thousands of residents in the country’s eastern city where the leader of the Khatumo secessionist movement Prof Ali Khalif Galayd is currently stirring conflict with Somaliland authorities.
The current visit of Dr Haglatosie to his hometown of Buhodle from his perch in Hargeisa was precipitated by the arrival of the warmongering Prof whose in a United States citizen and member of the Somalia federal parliament.
Upon his arrival in Buhodle the warmongering secessionist from Mogadishu on a plane laden with weapons informed residents that his presence was related to the ultimate creation of a Khatumo state presumably to be hived from parts of Sool and eastern parts of regions respectively, urged preparation for an all-out war on the government of Somaliland.
“The realization of a Khatumo state of Somalia elusive since its declaration in 2012 is now or never “said Galayd while revealing that he had brought with him an assortment of weapons and medical supplies for war with the Somaliland army.
Prompted by this sentiments Dr Haglatosie the former Sool Sanaag Cayn(Ayn)-SSC militia commander who is credited with bringing peace and development to Buhodle and the wider Sool region after signing the Buhodle peace accords with president Ahmed Mahmud Silanyo hit back vehemently.
In front of hundreds of residents in the centre of Buhodle town the health minister told Galayd that he was a traitor to Somaliland and for his own sake he should leave the town immediately in lieu of dire consequences.
“Unless you leave immediately the blood of your henchmen will litter the streets of Buhodle” Haglatosie warned the Khatumoist leader.
Formerly a turbulent area where skirmishes between SSC militias and the national army the Buhodle accords in which the SSC and government agreed to reconcile peacefully has brought peace and development and the new forays by the American warlord are geared towards disruption.
While one might wonder why Galayd would want to create mischief for his Dulbhante clansmen who predominate in the area it is worth mentioning that his scheme has nothing to do with creation of a Khatumo state but one perpetrated to advance the anti-Somaliland policies of his SFG master president Hasan sheikh in Mogadishu.
Despite engaging in the now stalled international sanctioned talks with Somaliland the embattled president of Somalia Hasan sheikh who is currently facing impeachment by SFG parliamentarians has never hidden his futile agenda to re-unite with Somaliland which he calls a region of Somalia.
This Even after 24 years since Somaliland a former British protectorate withdrew from its 1960 voluntary later turned fateful union with Italian Somalia to the South in creation of the now defunct Greater Republic of Somalia.
Thence the Khatumo card in which president Hasan in Mogadishu plays through funding to Galayd in order to undermine Somaliland at every square and turn while pursuing international recognition as a sovereign country.
For Galayd whose national allegiance is now in doubt owing to his US Citizenship, membership of the Somalia legislature and Somaliland birth origin, the secession he fronts is a façade of selfish nature geared only towards availing him a political platform in issues Somaliland, a country he helped withdraw from union with Somalia and later discarded after failure to garner top offices.
Notwithstanding the many setbacks of his Khatumoism mission through the hands of the national army that has evicted his militias from every area of Somaliland and his own shameful ouster from Sahdeer village where he was to be crowned president of Khatumo the persistent nature of Prof Galayd has another driving factor, the oil concessions granted Conoco by the government of late Siyad Bare in
The covert American connection in the Khatumo secession fronted by its citizen Warlord Ali Khalif Galayd is obvious even to the blind for Far beneath the surface of the tragic drama of Somalia, four major U.S. oil companies are quietly sitting on a prospective fortune in exclusive concessions to explore and exploit tens of millions of acres of the Somali countryside namely oil giants Conoco, Amoco, Chevron and Phillips acquired in the final years before Somalia’s pro-U.S. President Mohamed Siyad Bare before he was overthrown and the nation plunged into chaos in January, 1991.
Beginning 1986, Conoco, along with Amoco, Chevron, Phillips and, briefly, Shell all sought and obtained exploration licenses for northern Somalia from Siyad Barrel’s government. Somalia was soon carved up into concessional blocs, with Conoco, Amoco and Chevron winning the right to explore and exploit the most promising ones.
Of interest to Galayd is the Conoco Concession which straddles the same area as the one that the American Citizen and Somalia MP wants to create his mythical Khatumo state of Somalia.
Presumably Conoco which was overtly involved in the fateful US deployment to Mogadishu ending in the now famous “BLACK HAWK DOWN” is covertly involved in the current machinations related to the Khatumo secessionism.
Apart from tarnishing the self-attained peaceful co-existence international image of Somaliland the secession presumably fronted by Conoco in Houston-Texas and the corrupt SFG in Mogadishu is also injurious to the economy of Somaliland and livelihoods of its people.
For the Khatumoist and their friends both in Mogadishu and the US are directly responsible for failure of oil exploration in Holhol Sool region by DNO of Norway that has a Product sharing Agreement with the Government of Somaliland.
If our surmise that US interests have something to do with Khatumoism is wrong how can the President Obama administration justify the presence of its warlord Galayd in Somaliland and Somalia after he was deported by the Ethiopians?
At the same time how can the same authorities in Washington DC justify the continued none prosecution of its Citizen Prof Ali Khalif Galayd after well documented terrorism activities in a foreign country, Somaliland, contrary to US laws?
Though the Somaliland government treads consciously in regards to eventual elimination of the secessionist in the east of the country time has come for a conclusive finale through might of force and the right man to do this is Dr Suleiman Isse Ahmed Haglatosie the militia commander turned politician and currently the Somaliland minister of health.
