Will the unionist premier daughter of Somaliland Fozia Yusuf receive the same treatment with unionist MP Jama or is she not only a high ranking official but from the wrong side of the fence, thence a stiff sentence as befits a traitor which she then is, and MP Jama Isn’t?

HARGEISA (Somalilandsun) – Citizens opting to work and or support the unionists’ government in Mogadishu will no longer fear being charged with Treason.
The Maroodi-jeeh (Hargeisa) regional court has ordered police to effect within 24 hours the deportation of Somalia MP Jama Ahmed Mahmud immediately after he pays a 1,000,000 SL Sh ($150) fine imposed on him.
The Mogadishu based legislator who was charged with treason has been in custody at the Hargeisa since his arrest by Gabile police and subsequent transfer to the capital city for arraignment in court on 5th Feb 2013.
According to the Gabile regional police Chief Captain Suleiman Duale ‘Dega’ade’, MP Jama who had been hiding in the western town for a fortnight was arrested because he original hails from Gabile thus a traitor to the Nation for having joined the Unionists in South Somalia, an act that is contrary to the laws of Somaliland.
Due to the severity under which the unionist legislator was charged with and the subsequent sentence of a cheap fine and deportation, the hitherto treasonable crime of working for the Somalia government seems to have been discarded.
For over 2 decades those Somalilanders who joined the unionists were considered traitors thus liable for prosecution and a stiff sentence when found within borders of the country that separated from a dysfunctional union with Somalia 21 years ago.
This legal stipulation and sovereignty tenet of Somalilanders which has withstood the tide of time for two decades came to a dramatic change last year when parliament made some amendments allowing for contact with Somalia.
The court’s lenient treatment of the unionist MP son of Somaliland is very contrary to the vehement castigation meted on Ms. Fozia Yusuf Haji Aden a few months ago when she was appointed to her current posts of Somalia deputy premier and Foreign minister.
So what will happen if and when the Mogadishu based Deputy Premier decides to visit relatives in and facelift her sprawling mansion in Hargeisa?
in view of the fact the lady is very affluent thus can afford to travel home every month official duties in Mogadishu permitting, will the unionist premier daughter of Somaliland receive the same treatment with unionist MP Jama or is she not only a high ranking official but from the wrong side of the fence, thence a stiff sentence as befits a traitor which she then is and MP Jama Isn’t?
