• “Our party supports the government when it is on the right path” said UCID Chairman
Las Anod (Somalilandsun)- Chairman of the opposition Justice and Welfare Party Mr. Feisal Ali Warabe speaking at a ceremony of opening Voter Registration in Sool region and Buhodle district said, “Complaints in Sool region were part of the obstacles, that hindered the recognition of Somaliland.
We have reached the time when the country is fully embraced. The people in these areas have shown complete satisfaction to take part in the voter Registration.
The chairman added,” We are overjoyed for the voter registration is to be completed in the last of the 6 regions of Somaliland and the second joy is that our territory is complete. This is the beginning of recognition because we are united and peaceful.”
Mr. Feisal Ali Warabe compared the current registration with the one held in 2009 saying, “ In the 2009 Voter registration we encountered a lot of opposition, specially women who insulted. Today we are received with open hands by the people in Las Anod. This is the 4th time I am in Las Anod his is the first time individuals like Musa Bihi -Chairman of Kulmiye Party and its presidential nominee are in town.”
Chairman of UCID party also spoke of the success of the Peace Dialogue by President Silanyo which was held in Adhi-Caddeye-by the communities in Sool; which is expected to be concluded on October 25/2016 in Burao.
He concluded saying that as opposition our party is always ready to support the government when it doing good and we are ready to bring to conclusion the efforts being made by President Silanyo and the ruling party.
