Somalilandsun: The people of Somaliland have been encouraged to register their small and light weapons with authorities.
The Ministry of Interior made this announcement on Thursday, December 10.
Somaliland Police Force delivered the message to people in the country urging them to be extremely careful when around the weapons.
Furthermore, parents who keep the guns at home were requested to stop exposing the weapons to little kids.
Police officers in the breakaway region of Somaliland are scheduled to start registering people who keep small and light arms at their residences
