Somalilandsun- The The Academy of Peace and development-APD has successfully jumpstarted presidential elections slated for December upon facilitating concerted implementation of voter card issuance activities in Somaliland.
This follows the signing of a code of conduct governing voter card distribution by three national political parties and national Election body at a function hosted by the Academy in Hargeisa.
While pledging full support to the nationwide exercise starting on the 29th April and commitment to one-Person-one vote representatives of The three political parties of Somaliland namely Kulmiye, Wadani and UCID as well as NEC appended their signatures to officially Institutionalize the Somaliland Voter Card Issuance Code of Conduct
