SLSUN: The President of the Republic of Somaliland held a consultative meeting with the former Presidents and Vice-Presidents of the Somaliland Nation.
This is according to a statement released via X.com by Somaliland presidency spokesman Eng Hussein Deyr that read
Hargeisa-27-12-2024-()-The President of the Republic of Somaliland Abdirahman Mohamed Abdilahi (Cirro) together with the Vice President Jam. Somaliland Mohamed Ali Aw Abdi today held a consultation meeting with the former presidents and vice-presidents of Somaliland.
The president, the ex presidents and the vice-presidents who held the consultation meeting included:
1. The 5th President of Somaliland Mr. Muse Bihi Abdi,
2. The 3rd President of Somaliland Mr. Dahir Riyale Kaahin,
3. The 3rd Vice President Mr. Ahmed Yusuf Yassin,
4. The 2nd Vice President Mr. Abdirahman Aw Ali Farah.
On the other hand, the 4th and 5th Vice President Mr. Abdirahman Abdilahi Ismail (Sailici) was also part of the meeting, but he was absent from the meeting due to the death of his mother in Borama, which the Presidents and Vice Presidents condoled his death.
Also, the former Chairman of the Somaliland House of Representatives Mr. Bashe Mohamed Farah was also a part of the meeting. The 1st Vice President of Somaliland Mr. Hassan Ise Jama was part of the consultation meeting but was absent due to health conditions, and together they prayed to God to grant him good health.
The important issues that the President discussed with the former Presidents and Vice Presidents were discussions related to the current situation of the mission and special priorities of the Republic of Somaliland.
At the end of the day, the unity of the Heads of State of the Republic of Somaliland is always the best and the advice that the Republic of Somaliland is different from other Somalis. Their meeting is a SIGN of good and positive for the people of the Republic of Somaliland in terms of strengthening the nationalism and unity of the people of the Republic of Somaliland.
