HARGEISA (Somalilandsun) – A two day conference participated by 60 members from the Ministry of Health, UN Agencies and NGOs involved in health sector to discuss working plans implemented in the past 3 months.
The first speaker at the event was the Minister of Health, Suleiman Ahmed Issa Hagletosiye, stated that Ministry of Health highly values its main goal which is to provide any assistance needed by the people of Somaliland health wise, anytime anywhere. He continued to elaborate on how his ministry always amplifies its efforts to better serve the nation and provide every possible help to every patient.
Minister of Health, during his speech, also discussed existing developmental projects in addition to those in the pipeline. He encouraged participants at the conference to take as much advantage of these two days while which the conference will continue, and to cooperate and collaborate where possible to upgrade the ministry’s working plan.
The event was concluded with speeches by attending figures including Director General of Health, and high ranking officials from UNFPI and WHO.
